Lean Back

We need a soul-restorer, and his name is Jesus.

Psalms 23:1-3 (NIV) says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”

I’m sensing many need a touch from the Lord this morning. So today, instead of pressing in, consider leaning back. There is a time for both, but if we never learn to lean back into the arms of the Father, we miss out on his restoration and rest. One of my favorite songs about rest is called “Lean Back” by Capital City Worship. I don’t always share songs here, but I’m sensing that we could all use a few moments to simply abide in God’s presence and rest.

That’s all for today. 😊
