The Majesty Of His Name

Psalm 8:9 (ESV) says, “O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” Today is one of those days designated for praise and adoration. There is no takeaway or practical application—just worship. And he is worthy of that. You can start with this prayer below, but it can be simpler than that. Whatever your response is, be sure to bless the Lord this morning. Imagine how beautiful it is that dozens of other believers across the nation are blessing the Lord with one heart today. Thank you, Jesus!

Prayer

Lord, let your name be a banner over my life.

Let your glory shine through my life!

You are my God, and I worship you for the majesty of your name.

Your name is the most powerful name. Your name is the highest name!

Let me hear your name today. Let me see your glory on display today.

I long for a glimpse of your majesty. I wait on the Lord to stand in his glory.

Let the name of Jesus be magnified in my life. Let his glory shine through me.

Lord, your name is so majestic.
