God Is Love

1 John 4:8 (NIV) says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

I am nearly in tears this morning as I think about the love of God. I don’t have much to write about today. We are moving from Ohio to Illinois this morning. But as I sat down amid the busyness of the morning, I was struck with the simple truth: God is love.

Now I was hoping you could take a moment and meditate on that truth. Let the simple power wash over you. Open your heart to this reality and watch what God does next.

Nathan is a music producer, worship leader, and teacher. He lives in Kankakee, IL, with his wife and two boys. He has a B.M. in Music Composition from Olivet Nazarene University and an M.M. in Music Production from Berklee Online and serves as an adjunct professor of recording arts at Olivet Nazarene University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Worship from Liberty University.

Nathan’s work as a worship leader has led him to travel around the Midwest over the last decade, performing at churches and events.
