Proverbs 8:19 | WISDOM’S WORTH
There are many things to run after in life—worldly pleasures, money, fame, notoriety, knowledge, and education. Yet none can compare to the worth of wisdom in our lives.

Deuteronomy 30:11-14 | God is Near
If God could say this bold promise to the Israelites thousands of years ago, how much more can we rely on this word through the Holy Spirit that lives within us? God has not only assured us of his truth in our lives, but he has provided the very presence of his Spirit to empower us to live in freedom.
James 1:12 | Stand The Test
Perhaps some of us have faced situations where this has been the case. And while we have not yet faced severe persecution or trial for our faith, we have faced other trials such as personal loss, relational tension, or the consequences of sin. How have we learned to respond to trials? Do we know how to persevere?

John 17:3 | To Know Him
It is time to declutter our religion and simply abide. All the striving in the world cannot make up for the power of responding to Jesus’ prayer that we would know him—the one true God.

Follow Me
People perceive the voice of God differently. God expresses himself to us uniquely, creatively, and personally. The point is not to fixate on the practicality of how God delivers his messages to his people. Instead, we can rely on God’s promise to speak to us. He says plainly, “My sheep hear my voice.”

Press On To Know
Hosea was calling the people to run after the ways of God, to hunger for his law, and surrender the idols they worshipped. Yet there was no question in Hosea’s mind that God would return to his people. Indeed, “his going out is sure as the dawn.”

Knowing God
We can read a devotional or let it grip our hearts to love God more. We can endure a fast or allow the pain of lack to increase our desire for God. We can sing a worship song or be drawn into a holy moment of encountering God. We can write a spectacular psalm or go on a journey of beholding God for who he is and ask him to show us more.
