Everything He Does

Psalms 33:4 NLT says, “For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does.”

Psalm 33 instructs us to sing to the Lord and praise him for his faithfulness. I wonder today, where do you find yourself in this verse?

  • Are you already at the point of praising God?

  • Are you trusting him but barely holding on to hope?

  • Have you lost faith today?

The psalmist reminds us of God’s power to encourage us when we doubt. “The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born” (Psalms 33:6 NLT). If you were worried about a situation in your life, remember that the stars of the universe exist on account of the word of the Lord. It is good for us to remember our God in this way.

Consider the final few verses of Psalms 33. God is worthy of our trust and hope. He does not expect us to follow him blindly. He upholds us by his word. He surrounds us with his unfailing love. Would you rely on him today? Take a few moments and meditate on these verses. If you have your bible with you, turn to Psalm 33 or click this link to view a web version.

Allow God to speak to your heart. Even if you feel like you are trusting him enough, he may have more to show you. Let us listen and deepen our faith in God today.
