We can’t live in freedom by our religion alone. We might feel like we are checking all the right boxes, but there is something powerful and sustaining about receiving the Spirit of adoption. God’s spirit protects us from the spirit of slavery and fear by bringing us into his presence, where we find affirmation and wholeness. We see a place where we belong.
Psalms 34:22 | Promise Of Rescue
If we trust God, he will lead us into the unknown. The unknown is where the lost and broken are, where discoveries are found, and where God desires to bring his light. We will never build the kingdom free-sailing on the open ocean.

God is Active
As we learn to abide, seeking God in the secret place, we begin to see him more in all areas of our lives. Think about this for a moment. Obedience is mainly dependent on our ability to hear and perceive the will of God. This takes practice, intentionality, and humility.

What does this look like? It means that you don’t leave any opportunity to know God or obey God on the table. It means that every day you are positioning yourself to respond to the promises of God and be a vessel for his kingdom.
