The Daily Invitation
Every day we have an opportunity to discover more about God and respond to his invitation to live in love and experience freedom. The Daily Invitation outlines the many ways Scripture calls us to know and follow God. By reflecting on these promises, believers are called to receive God’s give of grace, seek him earnestly, and surrender their lives.

Seated On High
One of the most dispairing places to be is in an ever-spiraling descent from truth into cloudiness and chaos of the mind. Have you ever been in such a place? The truth that once filled your mind falls through your fingers like sand. The power of the gospel that once captivated your heart wanes with every passing day as the power of oppression rises up ever so gradually.

The Love of God
Is full knowledge of God’s love even possible? Maybe in those holy moments in the gathering of believers in the unity of the Spirit, we can grasp (as Paul said) something like an understanding of God’s love. It seems to me that the moment we grasp this love, we realize once again that his love surpasses knowledge. God’s love overloads my capacity to understand.

Don’t Forget
God’s activity in our lives to save and redeem us is the only way we really have the freedom to worship him in the first place! His redemptive, saving, and healing work in our lives brings us to a place of wholeness where we can begin giving back praise.

Worship Builds Faith
Sometimes the only path to worship is to command your soul to bless the Lord, even when you don’t feel like it. Sometimes you have to l go against the grain and call to your soul to worship and give thanks, even when the situation around you says the opposite.

Come Into His Courts
With dramatic display, the holiness of God was released to all mankind. It was no man that tore the veil, but the hand of God! Today we can interpret Psalm 96 as calling us to enter into a spiritual place of worship with gratitude. So, does anyone have directions for how to get out of this earthly realm into an unseen glory? Of course not! This place of praise is accessed through faith alone, but it is not as elusive as you might think.

Higher Praise
God is an infinitely glorious God. We can keep climbing higher and higher in our praises, offering more of our worship and leaning in harder to glorify his name for our entire life, and we will still step into heaven’s glory in awe of how much greater he is than we could ever imagine.

Bursts of Light
All these expressions, when joined with a humble heart of gratitude, are worthy expressions of worship. They each play a role in constructing this celestial “throne” for God. I often think about this image of praise when believers gather to worship in the corporate setting. However, I see today that a mixture of corporate and personal expressions of praise prepares a throne for the Lord.

The Outward Appearance
If even the great prophet Samuel (who heard God’s voice calling three times in the temple) needed to be reminded of what matters to God, we surely could humbly respond to this invitation.
