The Daily Invitation
Every day we have an opportunity to discover more about God and respond to his invitation to live in love and experience freedom. The Daily Invitation outlines the many ways Scripture calls us to know and follow God. By reflecting on these promises, believers are called to receive God’s give of grace, seek him earnestly, and surrender their lives.

The Gift of Trust
It’s worth considering the power of practicing trust in the “good” times. When we don’t necessarily feel the need to trust in the Lord, it is the perfect opportunity to develop a deeper bond of faith with God. The fruit of daily trust is a soul settled into the rest of God. This posture of prayer and trust is more than a short-term response or a wise plan; it’s a lifestyle of growth.

Think About Flowers
God never asks us to have it all figured out. He calls us to wait for him to provide for the current day. That includes the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs we have. I don’t have to know what next week will bring because God is faithful to me right now.

Praise Him Every Day
This is why the discipline of praise matters. It keeps us under the flow of faith so that we can keep living in confidence. It’s totally appropriate to put your request before the Lord, unsure of how it will be resolved, and give God thanks for everything else you can think of. Maybe one day we will mature to the point of thanking God even for the suffering, but I think the practice of praise begins with learning to see the windows of gratitude in every day.

Grace In Weakness
I’ve never seen more acceleration in my spiritual journey than when God leads me through hardships. I’ve never experienced more fruit and growth in my faith than when God puts me in situations of vulnerability, and the pressure pushes me to trust him more than ever before.

Escaping Rollercoaster Christianity
The fruit God desires to produce in us is so abundant that we can’t possibly keep track of it. When we live in the presence of God, saturated in his Word, true spiritual growth occurs. God’s kingdom and truth begin to swell up within us from the inside out. Instead of obsessively trying to check everything off our spiritual list, we discover freedom in Christ like never before.

I Sought The Lord
Seek him in your fears and let your life be the Psalm 34:4 testimony: “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”

Hold Fast To God
The whole point of the journey of holiness is to lay down that which is perishing to take on that which is eternal. This only happens when we run to God, trusting fully in his grace to forgive, heal, and restore us.

Is Anything Too Hard?
Take the time today to ask this question and meditate on it in your heart. Let every thought that tries to elevate itself above the greatness of God be dethroned in your worship. Set your gaze on Christ and remember that it is his power at work in you that gives you freedom.

God Knows What You Need
Regarding the day-to-day things we need, we trust the Father to provide and do our best to follow his voice and live in the truth obediently. If we can trust God to lead us into safety and stability, we can focus on seeking his kingdom. And the closer we get to the kingdom, the more open we are for the provisions God gives.

You Are My God
In the same way, it amazes me how quickly the mundane moments of our lives are filled with divine purpose when we put our trust in the Lord. How many things in your life are you viewing as cumbersome burdens that God intends to use for his glory?

He Has Done Great Things
Call on the name of the Lord and remember his goodness. Ready yourself for the light of Christ to shine on you because when God does great things, we are glad.

More Than Survival
We can become so preoccupied with getting our life in order that we forget we have been invited into a divine story. Jesus reminds us today that getting caught up in worry and striving stands in opposition to the way of the kingdom.

Do You Believe in God?
It might sound ridiculous to ask this question, but it is soberingly possible to drop our belief in God miles behind us on the journey of faith and proceed based on our religious striving alone.

Psalm 33:20 | A Waiting Soul
Is it possible that learning to wait on the Lord in the mundane moments of life can prepare us to hear the voice of God in the moments where more is on the line?

Psalm 121:1-2 | Look Up
So often, when facing trials and struggles, we turn to our own devices and solutions to find a way out. It’s possible that our knee-jerk reaction to difficulty is to think that we are less worthy of a relationship with God.

Psalm 111:7 | A Just God
If God is anything, he is faithful.
