The Daily Invitation
Every day we have an opportunity to discover more about God and respond to his invitation to live in love and experience freedom. The Daily Invitation outlines the many ways Scripture calls us to know and follow God. By reflecting on these promises, believers are called to receive God’s give of grace, seek him earnestly, and surrender their lives.

Refuge & Strength
There is only one who can bear this incredible burden. Christ Jesus not only suffered the grief of knowing the full measure of humanity’s brokenness and wickedness, he bore the penalty for our sins. He both knew and carried every human wrong in his body on the cross.

Breath of God
With all the doors locked and the disciples gathered in a home, Jesus suddenly appeared among them. “Peace!” he said, showing them his wounded hands and side. I can only imagine the feeling of excitement and relief that came over the disciples as they embraced the Lord.

The Rooted Life
Paul comes in Colossians 2 to remind us that the life built on the Lord Jesus is a life of strength, growth, and overflowing thankfulness.

Promised Presence
God made a way to set his Spirit in our hearts forever. Through the forgiveness of our sins and the washing of Christ’s blood over our conscience, we are justified in the eyes of God. We become worthy vessels to carry the Spirit of God within us.

Is Anything Too Hard?
Take the time today to ask this question and meditate on it in your heart. Let every thought that tries to elevate itself above the greatness of God be dethroned in your worship. Set your gaze on Christ and remember that it is his power at work in you that gives you freedom.

With My Whole Heart
If we only engage with God in the public spaces of faith, we might not notice these hidden parts in our hearts. When we seek God in the secret place of prayer, we learn to identify where our hearts are hesitant to surrender.

Oh Give Thanks To The Lord!
What would happen today if you allowed the truth of God’s goodness and greatness to shift the attitude of your mind toward remembrance? How would the condition of your heart change as the revelation of God’s extraordinary grace began to overflow with worship?

When God’s Light Shines
Similarly, we are prone to discouragement and weariness over the unseen life of prayer and obedience. If we store treasures in heaven, our reward will be there, not on this earth. It is for our benefit to skip the prize in this life. When God’s light shines, we will be blown away by how much more will be added to our storehouses. Don’t give up on following the call to prayer.

Turn & Obey
How, then, can we become like David? How can we be quick to obey and carefully consider the Lord's ways in everything we do?

The House of God
We need only to turn to God in prayer. The believer can pray these psalms and enter into glorious communion in a moment. When Christ died on the cross, the presence of God broke out of the most holy place. When the Spirit fell like fire on Pentecost, all believers received the glory of God within.

God Knows What You Need
Regarding the day-to-day things we need, we trust the Father to provide and do our best to follow his voice and live in the truth obediently. If we can trust God to lead us into safety and stability, we can focus on seeking his kingdom. And the closer we get to the kingdom, the more open we are for the provisions God gives.

Asking For Grace
God could give us all the wealth we ever wanted, but that is too small a thing for him. Instead, God supplies abundantly more than we need in the areas where we are most desperate and least capable.

Examine Your Heart
Verses like Psalm 59:17 are a mirror for our hearts. Is God your strength? Are praises flowing to the God who shows you steadfast love? Or do you have to do some rearranging of your heart? How drastically do you need to reorient yourself to be in agreement with this verse? It’s worth pondering.

Trusting In God’s Salvation
On that day when Christ returns in glory, we will rejoice that our hope and confidence was not an empty prayer. We will declare that God is good, faithful, and just. We will stand in the light of his presence while the sun and moon fade away like a dull glow. That will be a glorious day.

Where Were You?
Is it any less God for him to speak through his word and the council of his Holy Spirit? Is it any less radical for the Son of Man to take on your sin and offer forgiveness? Can there be a greater majesty than the washing away of all our sins?

The God That Lifts Us Up
All of these things can be addressed in the flesh, and if we are honest, they don’t necessarily require the power of God to move in our lives. We could see God move in these areas, but it is much easier to push God’s help away and keep pursuing our own strategies for deliverance.

Called To Be Holy
We get to live like heaven. Glory to glory. Even in our suffering, we see the light of Christ; and the Spirit works it for our benefit, shaping us to be more and more like Jesus.

Abide In My Love
God has invited us to know him through encounters with his love. Sometimes this looks like revelation and understanding of his word. Other times it seems like renewed strength to persist in the task before us. It could be a renewal of the heart, or it might be a healing of the soul. All these things matter; abiding in God includes every part of our being.

Love Through Deliverance
Today is an invitation to put your trust in God beyond a feeling and recognize that God’s love is expressed to you in his deliverance. Could it be that God wants to set you free where you are asking for comfort? Where you are asking for peace, does God seek to provide?

You Are My God
In the same way, it amazes me how quickly the mundane moments of our lives are filled with divine purpose when we put our trust in the Lord. How many things in your life are you viewing as cumbersome burdens that God intends to use for his glory?
