The Daily Invitation
Every day we have an opportunity to discover more about God and respond to his invitation to live in love and experience freedom. The Daily Invitation outlines the many ways Scripture calls us to know and follow God. By reflecting on these promises, believers are called to receive God’s give of grace, seek him earnestly, and surrender their lives.

Come Into His Courts
With dramatic display, the holiness of God was released to all mankind. It was no man that tore the veil, but the hand of God! Today we can interpret Psalm 96 as calling us to enter into a spiritual place of worship with gratitude. So, does anyone have directions for how to get out of this earthly realm into an unseen glory? Of course not! This place of praise is accessed through faith alone, but it is not as elusive as you might think.

Higher Praise
God is an infinitely glorious God. We can keep climbing higher and higher in our praises, offering more of our worship and leaning in harder to glorify his name for our entire life, and we will still step into heaven’s glory in awe of how much greater he is than we could ever imagine.

Receiving Grace
Recognizing this truth allows the burden of self-perfection to fall off. Instead of being worn-out servants, we are treasured sons and daughters who share everything with the Father. We can live as grateful recipients of full grace and freedom.

A Kingdom At Hand
God doesn’t keep us out of his kingdom because of spite or playing favorites. There’s no earning our way into the kingdom. Instead, God freely invites us daily to enter his freedom, rest, and power because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.

Bursts of Light
All these expressions, when joined with a humble heart of gratitude, are worthy expressions of worship. They each play a role in constructing this celestial “throne” for God. I often think about this image of praise when believers gather to worship in the corporate setting. However, I see today that a mixture of corporate and personal expressions of praise prepares a throne for the Lord.

God Is Near
While we may be tempted to judge others as unworthy of God’s grace because of who they are or what they have done, we are just as likely to disqualify ourselves. Much like the Prodigal Son who opted to return to the Father’s house as a servant, we woefully underestimate our value to the Father.

Humble Dependence
In reality, growth in the Christian life is confessional. We stop pretending that we can fix ourselves and start falling on our knees to beg God to have mercy on us. This place of desperation and humility is where the Holy Spirit meets us and supernaturally renews us from the inside out.

No End In Sight
It is in these moments that we are filled to overflowing. Our souls have been filled to the brim. There is no more room left for another blessing of renewal, and yet God’s endless mercy and love are still pouring out—no end in sight.

Do You See God?
Can you see today that your inheritance is light? Your inheritance is to see God, and to see God is to be known by God.

He Has Done Great Things
Call on the name of the Lord and remember his goodness. Ready yourself for the light of Christ to shine on you because when God does great things, we are glad.

He Alone Is Great
This revelation is the foundation for a life of holy living and the doorway into intercessory prayer. Do you feel stuck in your spiritual walk? Do you sense that you have grown idle in your faith? Set your attention on the greatness of God, and you will see that you have been serving an image of God that is far too small.

Worth Pressing After
He is worth every effort we could give and more. What is unique about God is that he doesn’t expect us to strive our way into the kingdom. His acceptance of us is not based on what we deserve but on what he has done.

The Faithful God
An excellent practice of abiding is allowing the Bible to be a mirror to our souls. These words themselves have been passed down through generations so that we can read them today in our own language and receive the truth of God.

Fully In His Presence
Every part of our life that we call “good” apart from God is a missed opportunity to live in his presence.

Alive Today
The Monday after Easter is no less powerful than Easter itself because the story of resurrection never ends. Would you respond to the invitation to living hope by remembering you have access to life itself?

A Crushed God
How could it be the will of God to crush Jesus? How could a good God be so cruel?

A Different Kingdom
The shame belonged to those accused, attacked, and condemned God. They represent us in our feeble attempts to put God in a box and oppose him for our own attempts to have control. They are a mirror for us when we are offended by God and would rather make God in our own image.

Shouting In The Streets
A mother carrying her child covers her baby’s ears and calls into the crowd, “Hosanna!” Her 10-year-old daughter gets the story and adds, “Hosanna in the highest!”

King Forever
Then we can wonder in awe that scripture might even dare to point toward a glorious communion with such a divine God. Psalm 8:3-4 says, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”

Access To Freedom
As we consider the scope of God’s grace, meditating on his steadfast love, we have the opportunity to realize that we are among those who were brought into salvation through God’s grace.
